New York State Corporate Filings

We are pleased to offer corporate filing services, including but not limited to assumed name filings; amendments; certificates of change; and dissolutions.

Routine Processing from the Department of State is up to 4 weeks depending on the Department of State’s current turnaround conditions. However, they offer the following expedited service options for an additional fee as outlined below.

24-Hour – $25.00
Same Day (must be submitted by 12:00 pm) – $75.00
2-Hour – $150.00

Corporate Name Searches

When information is required regarding the correct name, location, address for process, registered agent, and status of a corporation, we can obtain information from the Department of State’s corporate records, and telephone and/or send results of search to your office.

Clearance for Availability

Provide up to three (3) proposed corporate names. We submit names to the Department of State, and provide the available names. When submitting more than one name, please submit names in order of preference. We suggest you refer to §301 of the Business Corporation Law for guidance in choosing names.

Reservation of Name

Once a name has been checked and found to be available, you may wish to place a reservation on the name. Teitel Service Bureau, Inc. will prepare and file the Application for Name Reservation for your corporate name. Once filed, we will forward the receipt to you. When filing certificates, the Name Reservation Receipt must accompany the Certificate.

NY Department of State Records & Copies

Teitel Service Bureau, Inc. can obtain a state certified or plain copy of any corporate certificate filed with the Department of State, and send the document directly to your office.

Certificate of Status

Teitel Service Bureau, Inc. can obtain a Certificate of Status for your New York or Authorized Foreign Business Entity showing “Good Standing” status along with a list of all documents on file within one business day.

Forming a New Business

Teitel Service Bureau, Inc. can assist with forming your New York Business Entity by preparing and filing the required documents with the Department of State, including Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, and other entity types.
